What to do in case of installation error in Gravio Hub for Mac?

Installation applications on Mac, in essence, consists of drag-and-dropping the application to the “Application” folder. Uninstalling subsequently is just moving the Application to the bin. On rare occasions, this can cause problems with the installation of a new Gravio HubKit.

If you see this HubKit installation error, it is likely that the HubKit installer is finding conflicting information from a previous installation

Please remove local binary files and re-start the installation to fix this issue. You can remove local binary files using the “Terminal” application on your mac, executing the following commands as “super user”:

$ sudo rm /usr/local/bin/GravioBlockchainServiceCore
$ sudo rm /usr/local/bin/GravioBluetoothManager
$ sudo rm /usr/local/bin/GravioControlServiceCore
$ sudo rm /usr/local/bin/GravioEdgeServiceCore
$ sudo rm /usr/local/bin/GravioIVARServiceCore
$ sudo rm /usr/local/bin/GravioServiceCore

If you are asked for the password, it’s your user’s login (administrator) password.
