Each Action Component (= Step) has its own Property Variables.

For example, the “HTTPPost” component has “URL”, “HTTP Method”, “Content-Type”, “Query String”, “Body”, “Output request/response as a file”.

You can set any value for each Property Variable by using the variables from the Action for example:

Note: You can write expressions by arithmetic operations in the property value.
Therefore, when entering a character string in the value, it is necessary to enclose it with “” (double quote).

Here is another example using the “ReadCSV” component.

We use the Upload function to upload the CSV file from our local file system (Gravio Studio’s File System) to the Edge Server’s File system and working directory.

This is sample CSV file’s content. The file name is “testdata.csv”.

When you click the “Upload” button, the file will be uploaded to the Gravio Server in its working directory. Once uploaded, you can also pick that file by clicking on the “Select file” button.

In this example, the test CSV file has a Header line for this CSV schema. When uploading, you have the option to check the “Use header” property in the property pane.

If you would like to output these component field values to the next step, you can create the respective Output field in the Step Fields.

You can edit the output field name by clicking the field name area.
